Gold Investment Coins “Golden Fleece” Selling Term Was Prolonged

The National Bank of Georgia has made a change in the selling rules of  the gold investment coins “Golden Fleece. From today it will be possible to buy gold coins at the Money Museum of the National Bank of Georgia during the whole day from 10.00 a.m. to 13.00 p.m. and 14.10 a.m. to 15.30 p.m. Until now gold coins were sold only in the first half of the day and the change in the rule was conditioned  by an increased  demand on the coins from the population.   The selling price of the gold coins is determined according to the price of gold established at the London Bullion Market Association trades. In London the trade is conducted twice a day. Accordingly, the price of gold coins “Golden Fleece” will be calculated  twice a day at the Money Museum of the NBG. From 10.00 a.m. to 13.00 p.m. the coins will be sold at the London Bullion Market Association on the basis of  the price fixed in the second half of the preceded day (15.00 - London time) and from 14.10 a.m. to 15.30 p.m gold investment coins will be sold in the first half of the very same day (10.30 - London time) in accordance with the fixed price.   Compared with the present prices of the Gold Market of Georgia, the price of gold coins “Golden Fleece” is cheaper. Consequently the Georgian gold investment coins are sold rapidly. To avoid the deficit, three denomination small-weight gold coins will be minted additionally in Austria.
