Bulletin of Monetary and Banking Statistics
The Bulletin of Monetary and Banking Statistics represents the statistical publication of the National Bank of Georgia. The data given in this edition include not only the financial, but also the real, government and external sectors too.
The bulletin provides a breakdown of data based on residency criteria, by type of economic sectors and activity, as well as the information on operations carried out during the reporting month itself.
The main source of the information published in the Bulletin is the data produced by the National Bank of Georgia and presented commercial banks. Besides that, the data of the Department for Statistics, Ministry of Finance of Georgia and State Insurance Supervision Service of Georgia are used.
From 2002, the Bulletin is being published quarterly on the 30-th day after reference quarter. Its users are governmental and private structures, academic circles and individuals, foreign central banks, statistical agencies of international organizations.
